Group Birthday/Thanksgiving Dinner

I can't believe that it is already that time of year. Our combined Birthday Party for the grandchildren and for me the opportunity to cook my family a turkey dinner. This is always one of my most favorite times but also a sad time because it is a sign that we will be leaving soon. Our 6 months home always seems very short. There is never enough time to do everything we plan. But this summer was special,, we did have sleepovers with each grandchild and did some fun things together. At the birthday party we played games (adults included) climbed trees, decorated cookies...and just had a fun time together. The kids need to earn token to buy their party bags with..(they needed to participate in the games and have their pictures taken when Grandma asked.
It was especially nice this year because Grace and Great Grandma Grace joined us for the day.

Glen Ellis

As always it is wonderful to live at Glen Ellis Campground. Our site is private and peaceful. A wonderful place for our family and friends to visit us. The Goff's always make us and our visitors feel very welcome.
It also a great place to work. Dick, Glen, Rich and Joelle always make us feel more like family than employees.... Thanks for a nice summer... Love ya all George & Lynn

Autumn & Lowell's visit

August 25, It was Autumn and Lowell's turn to visit with Grandma & Grandpa. Autumn was with us for 6 days and Lowell for 4 days. He had to go back to school earlier than Autumn,We had a great time... On Saturday and Sunday George worked so I amused the children. Dee also spent the day Saturday with us... Lowell wanted to see a little of his mom since he had been away the week before with his other grandparents. We went yard sailing, swimming and bike riding. On Sunday Autumn went to a ceramic painting class at the camp ground while Lowell sharpened his Wii skills. Then we went to a craft fair next to where grandpa worked. They had blow up slides and an obsticle course. On Monday I went golfing in a tournament with my friends and took 3rd place. Grandpa took the kids hiking up Glen Ellis Falls where they had a snack picnic. Then they spent time riding their bikes together. Autumn went to work with me on Wed and Thurs. She had fun making change for the customers at the store and she made $3 in tips. I haven't made a penny in tips this summer...I guess she's cuter..

Kiera & Xander's Sleepover

August 10, This is Kiera's first ever overnight visit to our house all by herself.. It was a very big occasion for all. Xander has always only been here with his sister so this was special for him also. Well Grandma & Grandpa are exhausted the day begins at 6:15 AM and doesn't stop till 8:30PM. They were both real good and we had lots of fun. They played very well together.. It was better than having them one at a time. This way they had someone to play with. We went on a hike to a waterfall Also a drive to a mountain top (small one) then a walk around the top. The view was awsome. The kids were amazed to see the town down below. A couple of trips for ice cream at the ice cream barn at our campground. We also played at the playground in town near where Grandpa works...Then played at the campground playground. Rode their bikes while grandma tried to keep up (I was walking)... This is their last night and Kiera (who cried for a few minutes every night) was very proud of herself tonight because she didn't cry.... Mom has been gone to a seminar since Friday so this is very long for her not to see mommy.. Xander is just having a wonderful time on his own with no competition from his sister...tonight he is starting to get a little home sick... We woke up this morning and the sun was shining ... something unusaul lately. We played at the playground and went bike riding all morning long. It was warm enough after lunch to finally be able to go swimming in the pool. The kids were thrilled. Well its time to go meet Stacey at Loon mountain. Then she will take both kids back home.. and we will go home and catch our breath.

We're Home!! Mother's Day Weekend

Aren't they cute!! I am so glad to be home. It's nice to spend the winter away but we sure do miss the kids and they miss us. We had a great time together. First we visited George's mom and sister. The next day we went to Richie's house and saw all the changes he had done over the winter...built a bonfire in the back yard and played with the kids. On Mother's Day we had a nice cook out at Stacey's with all the kids and grandkids. It does get a little crazy, but fun to do every now and then. A great way to start our summer stay.

The Journey Begins...

George and I met almost 10 years ago on the internet...Our common interests were golfing, and our family values.....We married seven years ago and have since added granchildren, RVing and recently motorcyles to the list....For the past 4 years we have lived in our 36ft Winnebago, Chieftain motor home full time.

Our first RV journey began October 2004 it was a 6 week trip across country from NH thru as many states as possible on our way to Southern California where we visited family for several weeks before continuing on to Florida where we started working for Disney World. We now work for Disney World as Photopass Photographers from October to May then come home to NH for the summer to work and spend time with our grown children and our 4 precious grandchildren.

We are so blessed...

Life is good when you remember

to take time to enjoy the journey.
